The journey home

Bringing your kitten home

We discuss arrangements with each family so the transition can be planned around the kitten's readiness.

Local pickup

Pickup at RDU or an agreed Triangle location is free.

Transport referrals

We can refer families to transporters. Safe Harbour does not personally ship kittens.

International families

Destination requirements vary. Contact us to discuss arrangements for your location.

Readiness comes first.

Kittens usually depart around 12 to 14 weeks, once they can safely be spayed or neutered and are ready. All kittens leave altered.

Your remaining balance is due 10 days before adoption. You receive health records, documentation, your kitten's go-home package and ongoing support.
